Written by Peter H. Reynolds
Happy Dreamer celebrates self-expression and the joys of being a dreamer. Although a young boy, sitting at a desk, is told to “sit still” and “be quiet,” his daydreams take him on a colorful, magical and joyous flight into the world of creativity! Peter Reynolds celebrates all kinds of dreamers in this beautifully illustrated book with hand-lettered text. Come explore all the many ways children, young and old, can be happy dreamers and then decide — which one (or maybe even more than one) are you?

Perhaps I will read this with my son who can never sit still. Lets put all that energy into fulfilling our dreams!

We have all experienced “sit down” and “be quiet”. Sometimes we need to dream and soar. I look forward to reading this book. Thank you for sharing.

This book just made me happy to read. I had to share it with some of my coworkers right away. It also reminded me that some of these “energetic” students of ours might just be dreamers as well.
