This book is very unique and special; it has both an English story and a Chinese story. It is “not a translated book but a fully bilingual book, told in both English and Chinese.” I found it so interesting that each language has its own emphasis on the differences and realities of two different and unique cultures. The illustrations are so, so relatable, I was seeing my own kids in the little face of this young boy and his struggle to show his family that he’s more capable than they think he is.
