What Happened on Fox Street

A charming book, told from a 10-year-old’s perception, about the street she and her family have lived on since she was born. The street reminds me of older times when neighbors took the time to get to know one another, sit on their front porches, and watch out for each other. I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to students that would like to read a down home book, no dragons or fairies tales, just a good book about good people.

  1. This book sounds like a fun read that our students could relate to. It reminds me of the neighborhood I grew up in and the one our children grew up in. It actually may be a lot like this area. I think our students would like it.

  2. This book sounds like one we all need to read and do. We do miss the good-old times when neighbors were sitting on their porches and watching out for each other. Perhaps this would instill into a child the desire to do such things.
