This is a completely charming book, from the pictures to the story. What I loved most about it was the use of words in the pictures. This book would be wonderful to teach fluency, ideas, and conventions for the writing process. Children of all ages will enjoy this book. The vibrant colors, the wonderful characters and the flow of the pictures are all excellent. Readers of all ages and levels will find themselves pulled into the book and creating the world along with Max.
