Infinity Ring, Book 3
Written by Lisa McMann
This third book in the Infinity Ring series reads well as a stand alone, but I’m sure that understanding would increase if I had read the previous books in the series. Riq, Sera, and Dak have just time traveled to America during the 1850s, where and when slavery has become such an issue. The SQ (the bad guys) have just invaded the underground railroad. This further endangers the lives of slaves using the railroad to claim their freedom. Riq, being African American, is captured and about to be auctioned off as a slave. Can Sera and Dak piece together clues from the “square” to rescue Riq and put the railroad back on track? Will the three of them be able to safely return from this volatile time in the history of our country? This is an exciting adventure that not only introduces the characters but also the reader to historically famous people. Through the eyes of the characters the reader is also able to experience some of the challenges people lived through at this time.
