A high action adventure that takes us to China with Ti-anna and Ethan, two teenagers trying to solve the disappearance of her father. Ti-anna’s father, a doctor who left China, returned to Vietnam to meet with supporters for his cause. At that point he disappears without the family knowing anything about him or his whereabouts. Actually, he fell into a trap, was forced back into China, was tried, convicted and imprisoned for life. Ti-anna, on finding this out, falls into the same trap, only she will be sold as a slave. In only nine days, she and Ethan run through various dangerous situations, manage to save some people, find her father and also discover that while making others aware of his situation, there is not much more they can do about it. The story keeps the reader enthralled only to find out that it is based on actual events and people. A great read!
