I thought this was a book that handled well a subject that every parent and teacher will confront at some time or another. A little boy, Michael, loves collecting words and stores them away every time he hears a new one that he likes. Unfortunately, one day he hears one on the school bus that is “inappropriate” but he just likes the sound of it and begins to say it everywhere. This book was quite clever and I liked how the author incorporated lots of different words into the story. Kids will also like the fun cartoon-like pictures. This will be a great read-aloud for 3rd through 6th grade.
