Giveaway Alert! 5/4/2017: We have a copy of this book to give away to a school library, teacher, or student in Granite School District. The first to leave a short comment below with your name will win the book, as long as you haven’t already won a book from us this week. Thanks for looking!
Sounds like a great book for animal and sports lovers as well. It is awesome that they can take historical events and put the information in graphic novel form. Students love the graphic novels.
Matt Phelan is really making a name for himself. This would be a great book to add to our collection so I could do an author/illustrator study of him. We have “Snow White”, “Where I Live”, “Xanders Panda Party”, and “The Seven Wonders of Sassafras Springs” to name a few. I love his illustrations and enjoy watching a new(ish) illustrator turned author take flight.
I thought “Snow White” was the best and most beautiful graphic novel ever. I loved that book so much, I went to the public library and checked out or put on hold all of Matt Phelan’s books that I hadn’t read before. I would love to have this book for our library!!
Renee,
It’s yours! We will send it to you soon.
(Pam and Christine already received other giveaways earlier today.)
We would take a graphic novel for our collection, but I think we have been beaten out.
Oh Thank you, thank you!!! I am so excited to have this book for our library. I love Matt Phelan’s books! This is a great day!!!
