School libraries may not be checking out books anymore this year, but if you are a student in Grades 7-12 in Granite School District you can get ebooks and audiobooks all summer long via Granite’s OverDrive Digital Library.
To access Granite School District’s OverDrive:
- Go to this URL: http://granite.lib.overdrive.com ;
- Choose the name of the school you attended in the 2013-14 school year from the list ;
- Enter your student number or employee ID number as your library card number;
- Browse and download ebooks and audiobooks to your computer or mobile devices.
OverDrive provides mobile apps for iOS, Android, and many other platforms and devices. Check out their OverDrive Media Console page (http://omc.overdrive.com/) for specific instructions on using OverDrive on your particular device.

Brockbank Jr. was the one secondary school in the district that for reasons unknown chose not to participate in OverDrive in the 2013-14 school year, but they will be coming back on next year. Until then we can add any interested Brockbank students into the system over the summer, just let us know your full name or student number via email to cmoyle@graniteschools.org or jwhiting@graniteschools.org.

Update: Accounts for all Brockbank Jr. students and teachers are now active and can be used. Just choose “Brockbank” from list of schools and then use your student number or employee number.
