How To Steal a Fortune
The cryptic message “find jewels” is one of the last things notorious jewel thief Alfie McQuin manages to say to his son March before he dies from falling off the roof of a building. Now, March must find out what his father was trying to tell him while being surrounded by mystery, adventure and intrigue. Meeting the twin sister he never knew he had, along with two new friends, they and March must work together to try to outsmart the adults in the story and discover the mystery of the seven moonstones. Loot is full of twists and turns and rich in story and characters that bring it all together. I loved the way March relied on the lessons his father had taught him to figure out the situations he and his sister and friends found themselves in to figure out the mystery of the moonstones. Author Jude Watson paced the story with so many thrills, adventure and humor. I could hardly put the book down. This book has been my favorite summer read!
