As his magic grows, so does his threat to the evil forces of the Bonemaster. Rumors are spreading about Jinx and his master wizard Simon. He tries to stay one step ahead of him, but it is tricky. While pursuing information at the Temple in Samara that could save his beloved Urwald and clear his and Simon’s names, he meets new characters. Can he trust them? Knowing that he must save his friend Simon the wizard and rescue Sophie, Jinx needs someone he can trust. But who can that be as old friends and new friends seem to waffle in their allegiance? This is a very exciting adventure-fantasy with mysteries at every turn. The story picks up speed making it hard to put down. The characters are so well written; they come to life on the page. The setting is beautifully descriptive and draws the reader into this world of the Urwald. I anxiously await the next book to find out “what happens next.”
