But when he gets captured by the evil wizard to dig for treasure, it’s time for his friends to try and save the day. Julia Donaldson’s books are always so eye catching and fun to read. Her stories in rhyme create great read-alouds and the illustrations by Axel Scheffler go perfectly together. I love all the bugs and garden animals’ faces and the great use of color.
