Echo

EchoWritten by Pam Muñoz Ryan

I enjoy reading Pam Muñoz Ryan’s books. This one definitely did not disappoint. This historical fiction brings together three children growing up around World War II. They all are in different parts of the world and have different perspectives of the events going on in the world. They all have a love for music and are tied together by a harmonica. This book is fantastic! It is not a small book though. It is close to 600 pages and can be overwhelming to students. It is not a difficult book to read, just long.

I have a couple of students that would gladly devour a long book ! And Pam Munoz Ryan is an author that could really inspire them.

  2. My family and I read this book as a read-aloud. We loved it! Pam Munoz Ryan does a superb job in bringing the past and present together.
