By Charlotte Voake
In this simple picture book we meet Melissa, her friends, and all their unsuitable pets. It explores a variety of animals and why they would not make great pets. A giraffe is a gentle pet with lovely long legs, but she’s a bit too tall for Caroline. It was a fun book with great illustrations and would make a great read-aloud.
