This book is about a couple of boys, a girl who loves dance and wants to dance with Ryan, a Sasquatch robot that smells like skunk, and an alien robot (or is it a real alien?) Morgan and Lewis are good at keeping secrets and avoiding problems at school. Mr. Lee is a teacher who leaves notes for the boys to find. He sends them on adventures. This latest note says both boys are to write a paragraph about plankton and bring it to his house on Friday.
While trying to survive in school until Friday: everyone wants them to tell the story about how they have seen a real Sasquatch. Marcus the bully is actually being nice? His teacher says she has seen the Sasquatch, Lewis is now actually eating all of the yucky food in the cafeteria and likes it! Gross! What is that green stuff? The boys get another note from Mr. Lee telling them to come at 2:00 on Friday and they will get to see the Sasquatch robot.
When they get to the meeting, Mr. Lee is not there but there is another note. He had to leave for an emergency meeting here is the remote control to the Sasquatch and a phone to call him if anyone sees the Sasquatch. They are going on a Sasquatch hunt. They are led through a prickly field to the Sasquatch robot and YUCK! It smells horrible. They can’t ride the Sasquatch today, they have to do something about that smell! They are going to have to come tomorrow prepared for the horrible smell.
After a quick trip to the home improvement store, they are prepared to ride the Sasquatch. Morgan likes the Sasquatch robot much better than the alien robot. The alien robot is creepy. After Morgan’s parents assume their house has been skunked, Betty his sister catches them in the act and insists on coming with them….
They finally get to ride the Sasquatch, save the motel Lewis’s family owns (who knew a Sasquatch could lift a sign that big) and Morgan’s sister Betty gets to dance, sadly not with Ryan but with the alien robot…or is it?
