(but be careful what you wish for!)
Written by Nicola O’Byrne
Super cute book about a rabbit who wished he wasn’t bored. A wolf comes along to help him with that. The wolf says he’s a librarian. He does seem to know a lot about stories and using imagination. Eventually the rabbit does take the advice and uses his imagination.
This book has a lot of different audiences. This would be a really appropriate book for librarians to share at story time. It could also be helpful for teaching parts of a story or fairy tale. It’s also just a cute story about imagination.
The illustrations are great. Fun, friendly colors and creative use of patterns help the illustrations. Even the fonts change and are fun. The fold-out page is a nice surprise. And the window in the back of the book adds character. Nicely done.
