Grumpy Bruce the Bear only likes one thing– eggs. So when he goes in search of ingredients to make a fancy egg recipe he found on the internet, Bruce gets more than he bargained for. As he starts to prepare the eggs for hard-boiling, they hatch! The four baby goslings cry, “MAMA!” And Bruce becomes the victim of mistaken identity. This has to be one of the funniest books I have read. The story is so witty and clever, and the illustrations are truly what the inside cover says, “Uproarious!” They totally bring the words to life. Also the colors and bold black outlines are perfectly suited for the forest setting. I love the expressions on Bruce’s face. Read this story to see what I mean. I cannot say enough great things about very funny Mother Bruce.
