I loved this book! The human mind fascinates me and this little journey into one girl’s psyche is just what I love to read. Sophie Kinsella is great at telling a story. It flows and makes sense and we keep reading because our curiosity is piqued. Audrey wears dark glasses and won’t go out in public. Something bad happened to her and we don’t know what, but we get to watch her as she deals with her mental and emotional setbacks and hurdles them, sometimes with grace, sometimes not so much. My favorite part about this book is that it normalizes mental illness and lets kids know that even though it is not easy to deal with, you can make progress. You can get help. You can succeed.
