This is a fun and fast read. I’m excited to have another mystery series available for then students ask for them I know an enjoyable and quirky read.
When Friday Barnes solves a bank robbery, she uses the money she gets to send herself to an expensive boarding school. However, she soon finds it’s full of bullies, rich kids, and quite a few mysteries.
I enjoyed how Friday interacts with her world, finds new friends, and solves interesting mysteries. She is a very likable character, and the people around her are so full of life and secrets that it’s easy to forget that this is a children’s book. It is filled with cool pictures, witty wordplay, and is a fun read. I recommend this book to people who like adventures and mysteries, and looking forward to the second book in the series.
