Owl Diaries, #3
By Rebecca Eliott
Miss Featherbottom is worried about the preparations for her wedding, so Eva and her friends create a club to help out. When Miss Featherbottom’s special necklace for that special day vanishes, the friends add detective to the title. Now The Secret Wedding Planners and Detective Club is on the case. Owl Diaries are perfect easy chapter books for young readers. The stories are written in short simple sentences and in a diary format. They are very colorfully illustrated and move the story along. Readers will love looking at them. The characters are cute, just charming and fun. The only thing that could throw very young readers off are the made up “owl” words such as “Owlifornia” (California), “Flaperrific” (Terrific) or “Owliverse” (Universe), but that is a small concern and can easily be remedied with help from someone older. All in all, Owl Diaries are wonderful for beginning readers and this book, A Woodland Wedding, is no exception. These books are very popular with the girls at my school.

All of a sudden these books have become super popular at my school. My own kids like them a lot too.
Sounds good.
These are great early chapter books for kids who don’t want Junie B or Magic Treehouse. They’ve been very popular at Rosecrest, too.
This is a fun series for young readers. Students are always asking for them!
Owl Diaries is an extremely popular easy chapter book at our school.
I’m glad to know about this series. It sounds like it would be a great addition to our library.
