I picked up this book because of the delightful cover, and thankfully, the story didn’t disappoint. This little dog has an owner that pampers and babies him. He isn’t frizzy or fluffy…he’s tough! And he is quite embarrassed by his owner’s shenanigans, thank you very much. When other dogs hear him called “Choochie Pooh,” they laugh at him. Then one day he goes to the park and three dogs let him join in their normal dog play. He’s thrilled! But what will happen when they hear his owner call him over when it’s time to leave? Darling story. Wonderful illustrations.
