This book is filled with short stories in graphic novel format, all about the crazy creatures that live in Gary’s backyard. I hard a hard time with the short story format, but it is a great book for students who need just a little at a time. Some of the individual stories connect to other stories, but most are separate. Each character has a unique personality. Some are friendly and nice, but most are mean and rude.

Don’t know how I feel about a book that can be mean and rude, but I am interested in reading it for myself.
