With 4 starred reviews I was excited to read this title and was not disappointed. The sign says “7 Easy Steps to Earn Your Lion Diploma,” and yet the boy is finding it’s not so easy to be a lion. Will he be able to pass the final test and earn his diploma? The surprise ending ties everything together nicely. Fantastic illustrations, concise, clever text and a feel good ending make this a great read aloud.

I love this book! I read this to kindergarten and first grade and we acted out the “lessons.” We had alot of fun!!!
