DC Comics Secret Hero Society
Written by Derek Fridolfs, Illustrated by Dustin Nguyen
This book is about three superheroes as kids, Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, and the school they are attending.
Bruce Wayne (Batman) is a new student at Ducard Academy where he has a hard time making friends. As Bruce is going to his classes he realizes that something is very strange about his teachers and the other students, so he decides to investigate and he finds two other friends to help him, Clark Kent (Superman) and Diana Prince (Wonder Woman.)
They find a secret place to hold meetings as they investigate and soon realize that they are not accepted by the other students and not allowed to join any of the clubs. The other students just happen to be the Justice League’s worst enemies, The Joker, Brainiac, Circe, Poison Ivy and others. The Justice League juniors find out that the school has been taken over by supervillain Ra’s Al Ghul where he was hoping to find and train new members for his organization: The League of Assassins.
This book is a graphic novel and should still be interesting to those not familiar with DC Comics characters.
