The Paladin Prophecy, #3
Written by Mark Frost
Rogue is the third book in the Paladin Prophecy trilogy. Will West’s grandfather, Franklin Greenwood, is alive and thinks he can fulfil the “Paladin Prophecy” by bring the Others to our world from the Never-Was. These beings possess advanced abilities and technology that Franklin is eager to control. He is keeping Will and his friends under close watch while they pretend to believe in his plan, but Will has realized that the Others have no intention of being controlled once they enter this world. He and his friends – Elise, Nick, and Ajay – need to stop the prophecy from being fulfilled by confronting the Others and stopping their plans to invade, but they have to deal with Franklin and their traitorous friend, Brooke, first. Gifted with exceptional mental and physical powers, Will and those friends, along with Coach Jericho, escape Franklin and his minions and travel to the Never-Was. Once there they face multiple obstacles including an army of creatures created by the Others as their invasion force, and two of Franklin’s human minions who have been sent to thwart their efforts. Will the friends succeed, and can Brooke be redeemed?
This is an enjoyable, satisfying conclusion to the Paladin Prophecy trilogy. There is plenty of action and the book is well-paced.
