Written by Kelly DiPucchio, Illustrated by Eric Wight
Darling illustrations and a message too! What’s not to love? Cupcake feels pressure to be perfect. She does all she can to have her frosting just right and her sprinkles in the right place. But her efforts backfire when the other bakery items start to resent her due to jealousy and misunderstanding. Fortune cookie gives her wise advice and everyone learns it’s okay to improve yourself, but you also need to be yourself. This book would be perfect to start a discussion on feelings, weaknesses, and accepting ourselves.
