This is a very simple story of the birth of Jesus Christ. This is a wonderful bedtime or lap sitting story to be read over and over. The illustrator used dark colors to highlight the shining of angels, stars and the baby Jesus. After reading, it gave me a feeling of peace and tranquility. Great story for young children.
