Our library has the other two books by Richard Byrne, This Book Just Ate My Dog! and We’re In the Wrong Book. I have read them for story-time to the younger students and they have really enjoyed them. (Lots of laughter and giggles!) This book is sure to get them laughing as well with its silliness. I think the students that have read or heard the previous two books will get a little bit more out of the book, but anyone will be able to enjoy the humor in things not working as they should. Besides being completely unexpected and humorous, I like how this book involves the reader, and my students really love these types of books too! Wonderful illustrations, too!
