5 stars for the illustrations! Only 2 for the story, which is disappointing. The book starts by saying Lazlo is in love, but then the rest of the story is about Lazlo chasing a cat. It comes to a sudden ending when Lazlo sees his love. The end. The lackluster story is forgiven because each page is covered in beautiful, imaginative pictures. Worth a look, but could have been so much more.
