When Finch was three years old her mother plucked a white feather from her neck. Since that time Finch was convinced that someday she would grow more feathers and fly away. After her father died her world fell apart. She often wish she could fly away NOW! This is a beautiful story about how Finch overcame a lot of trials to make life for her and other better. I loved reading this story and at times wanted to jump into the story and give Finch a hug.
