Written by Katherine Coville
This story is about a girl named Ivy who lives with her grandmother who heals animals. As the story progresses Ivy learns the importance of respecting every living creature, including humans. She also learns to always help someone in need and that being yourself is what makes you unique. I loved the griffin in the story because he wants to be helpful not trouble to people in the town. In addition, he takes his job very seriously in guarding a dog named Poof. Overall the story is about learning to do more in life than living in a tidy house.

I saw this receive a positive review on another site also. It looks like a good early chapter book.
This sounds like a cute, original story with a sweet message.
This looks like a fun read. A little
