Callie is having a hard time. Her family recently moved to New York City, after living in the suburbs. Shortly after moving, her father loses his job which brought them to the city to begin with. Callie herself copes with her family dysfunction by skipping school and going to the museums in the city, where she meets a new friend Cassius. Cassius helps her to see life in a new light, where she realizes that no one is perfect, including her family.
