The World’s Greatest Adventure Machine is a fun book to read. It does take a bit to get through all of the character development, but if you are able to push through you will be rewarded with a wonderful book. It has twists and turns, and when you think that you might have figured it out, another twist comes around the bend.
Four kids who come from very different places have won a contest to test out a new ride: Trevor, a kid who constantly gets into trouble; Devin, whose dad is trying to push him to be an internet sensation; Nika, a foreign girl, whose grandfather is very protective of her; and Cameron, who is, in his own words, a certified genius. As the ride begins, very strange things begin to happen. The kids must learn to work together and face their fears if they are going to finish this thing in one piece.
