Nerdy Birdy Tweets

Written by Aaron Reynolds, Illustrated by Matt Davies

Nerdy Birdy and Vulture are best friends, but they are very different. When Nerdy Birdy discovers Tweetster, he becomes obsessed with the number of friends he has and begins to pay more attention to his 500 Tweetster friends than to Vulture. It’s not until Nerdy Birdy goes too far and posts an embarrassing picture of Vulture that he realizes it doesn’t matter how many Tweetster friends he has if he doesn’t have Vulture as a friend. This amusing story with charming illustrations has a great moral about social media, which is so relevant these days.
