This is a very fun and entertaining book. It is about a girl and her mother. The mother is an inventor and is trying to get into the Inventor’s Guild, but it is only for men. So the mother and daughter decide to break into the society and break someone else’s invention so they can get into the World’s Fair. When they actually break in, they discover a plot to kidnap New York and then take over the United States. The rest of the story is full of adventure, inventions, and fun escapes. Great book.
