House of Dreams

The Life of L.M. Montgomery

Written by Liz Rosenberg, Illustrated by Julie Morstad

What a delight to be able to become more acquainted with a beloved author. The lovely illustrations make the reader’s journey even more wonderful. L. M. Montgomery, or Maud as she was called, had her fair share of trails. This book, often through Maud’s own words, gives insights into Maud’s life, touching on the struggles, but offering hope. Anyone who adores the Anne of Green Gables series will want to read this book. Though written with children in mind, some of the topics might be a bit heavy for them. But then, sadly, many children have not chosen to have the pleasure of reading L. M. Montgomery’s books, so the actual target audience are older readers who will relish reading this book.
