If you like Elephant & Piggie books, you will probably enjoy Monkey & Cake books. Monkey and Cake are friends who are trying to figure out what is in a box. Monkey thinks it is one thing, but when he opens it, the box is empty. He convinces Cake that he doesn’t really know what is in the box when it is closed. “You can think anything you want about what is inside the box when it is closed,” says Monkey. So, they both have their own ideas, and that’s okay. A fun way to encourage kids to be deep thinkers!
