Stolen Girl

Written by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch

Nadia just moved to Canada with her guardians that she calls her mother and father. She is troubled by dreams of her past. She lived in Germany and met Hitler during World War II, something she is ashamed of. She lives with the dread that she was a Nazi and is accused of being one by her classmates. What a difficult way to start out her new life in peaceful Canada. By the end of the book, she finally remembers who she really is. Well written story about facing the past, even when it is difficult.
