Focused is about the struggles of a teenage girl who is diagnosed with ADHD and how she overcomes some of the challenges associated with her diagnosis. This book was very interesting to me as I noticed some of the habits and problems that Clea went through as being similar to some that my own daughter goes through. I actually learned some ways to help my own daughter cope with some of her challenges with focusing on school work. I think this book could be very helpful for teenagers who are trying to deal with their own problems and challenges that school brings whether they have ADHD or not. It helps the reader be more understanding of those with ADHD and their specific challenges. This book has funny moments. sad moments, and teen romance moments that will keep the reader turning the pages for more.
