Veronica has superpowers that come out depending on the way she is feeling, sometimes at the very worst times! She tries to hide them, but with the support and acceptance that come from her Dad and best friend Charlie, she decides to keep them in the end.
I enjoyed reading this book. it kept my interest and I think most students could relate to at least one of the characters in the book. It is a story is about friendship, jealousy, first crushes and most important, accepting who you are.
Although it is book 3 in the “My So-Called Superpowers” series, you don’t necessarily have to read the first two books to understand the story. I love the diversity of the families that main characters Veronica and her best friend Charlie come from. The author created great characters and personalities for this book!
