War Stories was a very good book that would go well in any school library, for about 3rd grade and up. It is a unique perspective on glamorizing war and finding it is not so. This book would fill a need for a book report on WWII, a good fiction book, or a good book for a teacher to read aloud. This book is special in the words and images you get from reading it, the visuals from the war and the bond between a great grandson and his great grandpa.
