The Secrets of Winterhouse is the second book in the Winterhouse trilogy. Just like book one, this book is full of mystery, codes, and puzzles. Book lover Elizabeth and inventor Freddy are back at the Winterhouse, a hotel owned by Elizabeth’s long-lost grandfather, for Christmas. There are also new guests at Winterhouse who seem to be trying to help the evil Gracella return. Will Elizabeth and Freddy figure out what these guests are up to and save Winterhouse before it’s too late? I enjoyed the mystery and magic of this book. I think students will love solving the puzzles and codes along with Elizabeth and Freddy.
