I read this book with my mom and we both really liked it. I liked that there was some magic in it and the main character, Seren, is well written and I liked her a lot. Seren is an orphan and she goes to a mansion for a happy holiday. But nothing is as she expected. There is a lot of action and it was suspenseful too. I want to read the other books soon.
