Milk and Juice: A Recycling Romance

Written and Illustrated by Meredith Crandall Brown

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a book about a recycling romance, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have read this book to several Kindergarten-Second grade classes and they have all enjoyed it. This is a great teaching book if anyone is teaching about recycling. The story gets the kids interested and at the end there is a description of what happens from the empty container to a new product. It was engaging and well done with fun pictures as well.
