Book 1 of this series, Willa the Wisp, is a fun adventure into discovering unusual creatures and finding friendship. Auggie is a young boy with a job to take care of the creatures of The Fabled Stables. Each time there is to be a new addition, the stables would magically create a new place for them. When a new stable appears, it becomes Auggie’s responsibility to find the new creature. But when he finds it, will he get back in time?
This is a fun chapter book that the kids will love to read. I think that it might be a good read-aloud, if you are looking for something to read that is a little longer than a picture book.The copy that I recieved is an “Uncorrected Proof.” The pictures weren’t final, so I can’t really say how the illustrations will be, but the rough drafts make it look like it is going to be a fun book.
