This intriguing book is all about the forest ecosystem. It explains how trees grow from seeds with the help of animals, weather, and sunlight. It illustrates a seedling and how it grows next to a large mother tree. The book also introduces a more recent discovery of how fungi partners as an important role in the forest. It focuses on the underground communication network between trees, aided by fungi. The illustrations are very helpful for young readers. This book will perk an interest and spark new questions for its target audience.
