Growing Pangs is a graphic novel about a middle-school-aged girl named Katie who deals with friendships lost and gained and the struggles of growing up. Katie has OCD and this book helps readers understand the disorder in a way many people might relate to. It is a real depiction of what growing up is really like and how many experiences from the main character Katie, are commonly shared. Fans of the Telegmeier and Shannon Hale Real Friends books would enjoy this book. The art was nicely done!
