The Circles in the Sky

Written and Illustrated by Karl James Mountford

This book is a good book for any child who has experienced a loss such as death. It tries to explain in a gentle way that when someone dies we can always remember them even if they are no longer with us. The pictures are intriguing. It also talks about friendship and relying on each other during times of sadness. It is a sad book, so not something I would recommend reading to a whole class but would be great for a child who is dealing with something traumatic like a loved one passing.
