Beautifully written and relatable. Iveliz Explains It All is a story about a girl who is dealing with trauma in a confusing way. This book digs into a topic that is typically uncomfortable: mental illness. It is written in a way that makes you feel like you are reading in a notebook that Iveliz herself wrote in. I can imagine this book getting checked out a lot due to its intriguing style of writing and its visual appeal. The story is scattered with Spanish words and Puerto Rican culture. I will recommend it to as many students as I can.
