This is a beautifully illustrated edition of the Robert Frost poem “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening.” The pictures follow a girl on her horse in a snow storm as she travels through a forest. You can see the way she is taken with the overwhelming beauty of the silent woods around her. The illustrations are stunning, with an evocative, dreamlike quality. I really enjoyed this book.
